Missions, recruiting, fitting and corpmate ownage.

Well the last couple days have been alot of missions for me, after an experiance were my Drake tanked 4 battleships that had accidently got lock on me and were unable to scratch my tank, I got a bit confident and stormed after missions, Warhammer B saw heavy combat, including a mission that had, when I had my Ferox, the namesake of me drake, nearly destroyed her; I'd finally got me revenge, it was infact it was the only mission thus far thats even really hurt my tank so far, though the up-coming nerf will hurt. Now with good money coming in I might just get me Scorpian fitted out properly... I literly fit my Scorpian for around 4 million iskm mostly cause I had a couple spare modules from when I had my Rokh.

I also did a bit of fitting last night, decided that I wanted to take a cheap cruiser out for PvP next, instead of a 18 million isk Frigate with modules of equal cost and then losing it against a sentry gun, I tested out me Blackbird with a full racial ECM fit with 4 racials and 1 multi-spec, it worked rather well with my meager skills and I managed at one point to lock down a Stabber, Raven and Thorax all at once, and I could run all 5 jammers forever without cap proplems and if I activated my 2 Nosses I had a nearly intouchable cap unless you brought like a Nossathron or Nossageddon or Nossokh or hell any thing with more then 3 medium nosses. Playing around in quick-fit I found if I equiped with 4 multi-specs I could keep the Jammers going a long time and if I had nosses being used I could keep them all the time on, a usefull thing to say the least, though when faced with a Gallente force recon, needless to say I should put my head between my legs and kiss my sweet ass good-bye.

The corp i'm currently in is rather small, to small for my tastes tbh, but the leadership is veterens that Ive played with all the way back to my second corp, so to combat our rather smallness, (and the fact that I'm recruitment leader in it) I have spent the last week or so off and on trying to recruit. The fruit of my labours thus far is around 3 great members that are active and seemenly loyal, though new, but to me that doesn't mean nothing... also tonight I logged into find like 6-7 eve mail notifing me of new recruits, our Ceo must of been busy.

While were on the subject of me corpmates the other day, during a usual dueling of each other like we always do to have fun, Cpt Jameson, the resident drunk, let a full salvo of torpedoes from his Raven into our head-ceo's speed-equipped Stabber, who must not of been at enough speed at the time... Pop goes the stabber!

Well untill next time,

WOOO... PWNT

Well I finally took the Lil crow out to see some action, and...

"OOH LOOK AN INDY!"

"Lock, Jam" *press Ok to accept my hatred in the world of eve*

BOOM HEADSHOT... wait what... were'd my crow go... YES I had totally neglected to note that there were in-fact sentry guns in low sec, meaning that I have been officially nominated the official darwin award of EVE... Man what an idiot, remind me to hide in belts in low sec from now on... Ah well it isn't like Ive been before, it didn't affect me at all when the Crow died, hell I laughed my ass off... Man I've changed.. those hours In WoW stuck on a PvP server must of got something in me. Now to get back to my highsec jump clone and make my money back eh... Ah well, Risk over reward I guess, Isk comes and goes glory lives forever and me corp is not gonna let me live this one down... Jamesons gonna throw on a several hundred million bounty the next chance he gets and Pauls gonna throw on a a tital along the lines of "My Frigate can tank Sentry guns for aproximatly 2 seconds"

In other news I have a new ship, a battleship for freaking sake I hate those! but Paul wants me doing better damage in missions and frankly its the only way Imma get my sec back up once I get dealing in low sec.

First Flight

-Little Fan-fiction here about my new Crow, Enjoy.-

Near an asteroid. belt in the Citadel region, a large Drake Class Heavy Battle Cruiser moved into position, underneath a small, compared to most ships, Crow Class Interceptor was attached, it was a new addition to Captain Rilders collection, fitted for low-security areas as a 'Tackler' or a ship designed to prevent another ships escaping. She was a nice little ship, he thought, or at least it better be for the amount of ISK it cost him, which was small in comparison but was still allot to his tight wallet he held...

"Were in position, Sir," his first officer announced over communications, he was a good man, a survivor from the Disaster at Dodixie which had cost several thousand lives between the ships lost, around 1600 being from his own ship lost, the Warhammer.

"Roger that, beginning start-up sequence," he messaged over from his pod, which was in the Crow, the Drake, named Warhammer B after the lost Warhammer, was being manned by his bridge crew at the moment.

The crow shook a bit as the engines, reactor and subsystems came to life, the reactor consumed fuel like a mad man as the the engines were "pedaled to the medal" to heat themselves up, a more difficult task in space due to the rather cold environment. The ship calmed down and then slowed to an idle, typically a ship would be started in station assisted by machinery, but in space you don't have those luxuries and Rilder wanted to test the ship to the extremes in a controlled environment, lest he have to try them alone with enemies hunting.

"All system appear go, Captain, looks like we didn't blow up after all, guess I owe you 10 isk."

"Hah, Commander, but we aren't done yet, make sure the docking clamps are secure, lets see how much thrust this Micro Warp-drive can throw out," Rilder finished, it was a bit of friendly banter, but this was freelance ship not a navy ship and as such Rilder didn't treat his crew as a Navy crew all the time, but in the heat of battle they were expected to be professional at all times, as any Captain should treat there crews. A few minutess later the first officer chimed in that the docking clamps were as about as secure as they could possibly be so Rilder prepared for full burn.

The small interceptor, designed for speed, not tugging Battle Cruisers, but the two slowly picked up speed, even with the 'MWD,' as they called the Micro-Warp-drive, offline. After holding full burn for a bit Rilder activated the MWD. The engine burned even hotter as the interceptor strained against the Drake begging for more speed, the docking clamps holding desperately on, though both ships moved it wasn't as much as a MWD equipped crow would alone, and in fear of breaking the clamps the engines were pulled back after a 10 second burn, both ships inertia thrusters were brought on and both ships came to a halt.

"Dang, Captain you haven't blown up yet, were having to much good luck something has to happen."

"Nah, Commander, that's not until I'm in the heat of battle, its one of those 'Oh Shit' moments added to every battle to add dramatic effect."

"Ah, yes the favored, 'Oh shit' moment, damn it Captain I hate when you randomly say that in battle just to scare the hell out of us."

"Yep, its my way of desensitizing you all for when the real 'oh shit' moments come, anyways break me off time to see how fast this baby can really go."

"Yes, Captain, retracting docking clamps, have fun."

"Will do, Commander."

With that the the Crow Class Interceptor broke free and surged ahead, MWD activating and pushing the small ship to almost 5000 Meters per second, G-forces were extreme and even in his pod they were felt, with every implant being felt in Rilders body, an uneasy feeling to Rilder, and allot took a Pod-pilot to feel uneasy. For the next hours the ship performed tests of all types, from weapons to maneuvering to even scanning, and warp drive testing, before returning to base to make adjustments and to remove the docking clamps from the Warhammer B which had been specially added for the tests...

The Bloodthirst was ready.

Up and down goes the wallet and a new ship.

Interested in getting into pvp I consulted our corp leader since he had pvped allot in his protection of our systems (Nope not gonna tell ya) he suggested that I get a Crow for gang pvp, so I did and he threw me a setup, I looked over and went to buying... by the time I was done I had spent over 30 million Isk... OUCH.. time to go hit the missions, being a pussy and always wanting to study a mission before I did it I decided it would probably be faster to do couriers, plus I was trying to get level 4 R&D agents so it was 2 rats with one torp, anyways off I went Hauling hauling hauling and then a Storyline mish... I quickly glanced up the reward... and Smiled... it was a combat mission but I learned it was easy so I ran back to port grabbed my Drake and headed off to do it....

"Warp drive active"

*BEEEEEEEESSSSHEEEWW* (sound of complex computer systems turning off)

"Oh shit"

In gamer terms this means the server has crashed, and crash it did... the Eve Radio chat-room went from about 200-300 to about 20 when I got back in. well the Warhammer B warped in and right into the mish (and an asteroid-Ouch-) easy as was said and killed them even while lagging, went back to see my agent who gave my reward and I quickly pawned it off for 37 mill (its worth like 60 but I'm lazy like that) and made back the money I had spent on my Crow... Weehaww now to train up for a couple of modules for it and to hit the low sec lanes.

Rilder... out.

First post.

Hello, welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy your stay here, I spose I should tell whoever reads this about myself... Well I play EVE (No DUH!) I RP a bit, to the point were if your a Gallente your subject to my rants a bit, I fly under the Caldari flag, using Caldari ships for the most part; though I can fly Amarr Cruisers and Minmatar Frigates. I prefer smaller ships, Ive flown a Scorpian and Rokh but hated flying them so I stick to Battlecruisers and under. I can slo fly Interceptors and I'm working slowly to Command ships... I don't pvp alot nor lose alot of ships but thats starting to change, I'm not rich 130 mil to my name. I have a corp, head recruiter though were small, 9 people including alts, I don't have an alt but eh. I mine, I mission and explore, and trade in my spare time, all fun to me.
